Category: The Church Alive: Ministries that Move with Jesus

The Church is not a building or a schedule — it is a living movement of people shaped by the gospel and sent into the world.
When Jesus walked among the crowds, He mingled with people as one who desired their good. He didn’t compromise holiness; He embodied love. He built trust before He offered truth.
This series explores what it means for a church to move with Jesus — to create ministries that breathe the gospel in both sacred and secular spaces.
We’ll reimagine Sabbath School, small groups, evangelism, and leadership through the lens of the Incarnation — meeting people where they are, risking misunderstanding for the sake of redemptive love, and learning to speak the language of grace in a broken world.
Our goal is to build parallel pathways of ministry:
Pathways within the church that form disciples, train leaders, and renew worship;
Pathways beyond the church that cultivate relationships in coffee houses, rodeo corrals, digital communities, living rooms, and fire circles — anywhere Jesus would go if He were walking our streets today.
This is ministry that’s bold, biblical, and beautifully human.
It’s not about programs; it’s about presence.
Not about control; about courage.
Not about maintenance; about mission.
The Church Alive calls us to build ministries that move — in step with the Spirit, grounded in the Word, and dripping with the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.
